Many people have taken to online dating like ducks to water because it works or, at least, it can do. Women are, more often, squeamish of meeting a man that they have been chatting to online.

They have all heard the scary stories that can happen and, it is true that they have the right to be wary. That’s not only wise but vital. So what’s a nice guy supposed to do then? He is not a pervert, a sexual predator, or a weirdo. He is just a nice guy looking for the right girl for him.

You have to patient before all else. Do not push her for private data like her real name or where she lives. Keep your conversations light and amiable until she feels comfortable talking with you online. Don’t try to hurry her into meeting with you one on one. She will only think that you are desperate or a pervert. Be patient, patient, patient!.

Be absolutely honest about your physical appearance and job. A good relationship has never been, and will never be, built on lies and deceit. Eventually she will find out the truth anyway and then there you are back at square one.

A picture really is worth a thousand words. Post many pictures of yourself doing your everyday activities and make them full body shots, not just of your head. If you were dating a girl in the real world she wouldn’t just see your head, would she?

Once the discussion has been started meeting in the flesh for the very first time, try suggesting that you could meet in a very public place, during daylight hours and that she could bring a friend with her, if she wanted to.

When all is said and done, you have nothing to hide and everything to gain. You have already told her the truth about yourself and she has already seen a few pictures of you. Then only thing left to do is to is make her feel safe meeting you!
